Calf Xtra Mixes are high quality calf meals formulated using a mix of grains, protein meals, chopped lucerne hay, molasses, coccidiostat and minerals and vitamins for feeding to young calves as a supplement to milk. By feeding Calf Xtra Mixes the rumen of the calf develops at an early age enabling the calf to be weaned from milk at approximately 8 weeks of age. It is recommended that meal should be continued to be fed for a further 2-3 weeks after weaning from milk to assist in the transition to all pasture feeding and to protect the calf against the incidence of Coccidiosis.
